Jared Matthew is a photographer drawn to light — how it moves across a mountain ridge at dawn, settles on a face beside a window, or passes through stained glass onto old stone.

His work spans landscapes, portraits and still life, bound together by patience and a preference for natural light. Rather than chasing spectacle, he looks for the moments that reward a second look: texture, gesture, and the quiet geometry of everyday things.

Alongside this personal portfolio, Jared's photography powers two related projects: Sacred Atlas, a photographic survey documenting churches and sacred architecture, and Jared Matthew Studios, his professional studio.
